it possible to have the about section with no sliders. We have removed them all but the default ones are still showing

You can remove the slider in the about section via Appearance > Customize > Front Page Sections > About section and remove the bars from there.
If that does not work, please provide a link to the website so that we can provide some CSS to remove the sliders.

We removed the sliders in the section and just left the text. When editing the site, i.e. logged in as admin, the default sliders are still shown, however on the live site on another pc the sliders do not show up, a but strange but as the live site is as we want it that’s OK
