Adding a down arrow to the front page

Hi!

I’m using Shapely as a one-page theme and I would like to add an arrow at the bottom of the image that comes up when you open the page so that people will realise that they need to scroll down to see more. Is there a way to do this? If possible, it would also be nice if by clicking the arrow the website would scroll to the beginning of the next section.

This may not be possible with the homepage as it uses widgets to add content to the homepage but you can try using this plugin to add the feature:
