Adding a Search Bar

Hi there,

First of all great theme. I’ve been scouring these forms for an answer to this but only found documentation for other colorlib themes but only found an answer that works for Pinbin theme.

I want to know how to add a search bar to either the header or navigation bar. I know for some themes added the search bar to the navigation menu is simply not possible, but I would prefer it there.

I am running a child theme.

WordPress version: 4.6.1
PHP version: 5.3.3
Theme version: 1.0.35

Hi @mbrost,

For the moment you could add the search bar just in the services sections or footer by inserting a widget.

Hi Cristian,

Thanks for responding so quickly. Unfortunately when I try inserting a search widget to those areas, the search bar comes out strange, and not actually able to do searches it seems. Attached are screenshots of what they look like on the services area, and footer area respectfully.

It seems that is a bug, I reported the bug to the developer team to check.
