Hello – I have added the Bop Search Box Item Type For Nav Menus widget to add a search bar to the menu on the travel blog (mikemcewan.ca) I am creating which currently looks like this:
I attempted to align it to the right, above the right side bar using the follow code:
Unfortunately, if I go any further than 290px, it wraps underneath my menu. Additionally, I would like to expand the search bar the length of the right side bar and have the search button match the buttons for the rest of the menu. Ideally, it would look like this:
Finally is it possible to center the menu above the body or expand the width of the menu buttons to achieve a similar effect? Ideally, it would look something like this:
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
Thank you very much! I was able to increase the height of the search box by adding ‘height: 25px;’ however, this resulted increased the height of the menu as a whole resulting in unwanted space.
Is it possible to remove it or center the search box vertically?
Lastly, I noticed the search button is not consistent with the rest of the menu in that it is not as high, has rounded corners and the “s” is not capitalized and, most importantly, it do not know how to edit it’s color to match my theme. Could you help me with any of these customizations?
To help us keep support thread separates could you please create new thread for each of your other questions here Travelify - Colorlib Support Forum instead of asking them in your single thread as it makes the thread messy and hard to read.
If you want to you can also add reference of this thread in your newly created thread.
We would be more than happy to help you on your new thread.
