All parralax content gone after upgrade

I upgraded to 1.1.0 from 1.0.5 and all my parralax content is gone, my homepage is now blanked. I don’t know how to recover the widgets configuration, I just installed from WP the new version and now all my site content is gone, no idea how to fix it, please help!

Hi @newlinksolutions,

If you didn’t had a child theme, you lost all your custom changes. You need to make again your parallax section from Appearance>Costumize>Widgets>Parallax widget.

Thank you Cristian for the feedback, unfortunately I don’t have a child theme but I managed to recover a not too old backup of the db. I upgraded via FTP and now my site is back to normal after installing the Colorlib plugin and importing the suggested widgets. Is it the correct way to upgrade to new version?

I really love your themes and support is great, so far I found everything I needed in this great forum

This is also a way to upgrade.If you did the upgrade, don’t forget to create also a child theme now.
