I was given an admin role from the person who created my website, but i can’t see the appearance tab to add a menu to my website. Please how can i get the Appearance tab visible.

First of all, I think you have to start from the source of the problem, maybe the person who created your website did something? can you ask him? then, if appearance menu is disappeared i think this is more than WordPress related question rather than theme related.
