# Author and date

Dear support team,  
I hope you are doing alright.  
I have a question concerning the author and date lining right below the heading of my posts. I just tried to remove this line on pages and categories with this coding:

/_remove author and date_/  
body.category.archive .entry-meta {display: none !important ; }

It worked but now the date and author is also gone on my posts. There I would like to keep it. Is there a way to get rid of the date and the author everywhere EXCEPT the posts? Or could I just keep the date and get rid of the author and posted on?
