I’d like to enquire how to lower the opacity of a background image in a parallex widget to make the font easier to read. Is there a code I can add in the “additional CSS” part of the theme?
my website is theleeconcepts.com, and I’m referring to the “about us” section.
Another question I have is if there is a way to change the widget ID names as I think it is affecting SEO.

no need any css for first question, just make your image little bit transparent before upload, i mean, edit it in your pc
the second question - sorry but there is no way to do that, also, these ID’s will not affect any SEO score

the overlay also can be added over the image in photoshop 
sorry, but its easier to handle such problems on the image rather than creating extra css rules
