Blog archive header image zooms in

I’ve cropped my images for the blogpost headers tot the adviced 1920 x 532 pixels. They are very sharp. But when i choose Background size ‘cover’, the image zooms in and becomes unclear. The ‘contain’ function shows the image at the irght size, but leaves a lot of white on top. So i would lik to use the Cover mode, but with the a sharp image.

See the example at http://scrumkoken.nl/agile-scrum-teamtraining-teambuilding/

Anyone how to fix this (possible with additional CSS)?

Gerjon

Hi there

Hope you are having a good day and thank you for your question
Dear Gerjon answer is in your question,
“The ‘contain’ function shows the image at the irght size, but leaves a lot of white on top” - you have to use little bit more height to your image to fill entire area, no extra css or changes is needed when there is a native way to fix problem

Thanks!
