Blog Index displaying entire blog text and not just summary

Hi all!

I’m admin for cpmh.org,za and in our news feed, I can’t seem to get the preview to only show a text summary rather than the entire blog entry: http://www.cpmh.org.za/latest_news/

I have tried to amend this in the WordPress reading menu, but I think something in the php file overrides it.

Any advice?

Hello there,

I hope you are doing well today.

Please go to Posts then select any post, once in the post editor look on the upper right hand side of the screen for “Screen options” and enable the Excerpts option. This will allow you to add and use excerpts for the posts.
