I would like to set up a separate page where I post certain blog items that is separate from my main blog (home). [I am an artist and I want to have my daily studio blog separated from my main blog that will have its own feed]. Is there a way of doing this?

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
In a single WordPress site to separate blog posts you have to set categories or tags to the posts to separate them and then display the posts of those categories on each blog page. You have to develop some custom code or plugins to do this along with displaying their own RSS feed.
Instead of this you can create WordPress multisite and host both blogs in separate WordPress site in single WordPress setup as described in the following pages.
