Body Font and sizes

Hi there, Firstly I apologize for originally putting this against an existing thread. :slight_smile: I have now made this query a separate topic as requested :slight_smile:

My 3 questions re the fonts are:

  1. How do I make the page body text the same font as the menu bar text ?

    Reference Movin’s reply in thread https://colorlibsupport.com/t/unite-theme-font-option/

  2. How do I change the sizing of the Header One - Six text as i find some of the headers a little large. I assume this can be done via Custom CSS.

  3. How can I turn off the title in a specific page… I think it is called entry.title ??

Kind regards and thank you for such great support .

Ross

Hi Ross,

I hope you are well today and thanks or asking your questions in new thread.

1. How do I make the page body text the same font as the menu bar text ?

It seems both of them are using same font family so do you want to make their font size same or anything else?

If their font family is not displaying same for you then please share me your site URLs so that i can make them to display same.

2. How do I change the sizing of the Header One – Six text as i find some of the headers a little large. I assume this can be done via Custom CSS.

Could you please share me the screenshots of large headers and share me your site URL so that i can help you?

3. How can I turn off the title in a specific page.. I think it is called entry.title ??

You can try achieving this using the following plugin.

Hello, Movin thanks for the quick reply… :slight_smile:

Regarding my questions 1 and 2…here is the info you need.

my site is www.crystaledge.co.nz

  1. attached is a screenshot what show the home page… the parts pointed to by the arrows are all same simple plain font, but the post in the Yellow is in a different font like Times Roman… I would like to have that font the same as the ones pointed to by the arrows.

  2. The same screehshot also shows the words UNDER DEVELOPMENT… I think that is about 36px or something but i would like to make it smaller if possible, maybe 2/3 or 3/4 the size , i.e maybe 24 or 32 px (assuming the current size is 36)

The titles of other pages are same size (click on Gallery, White Ballroom Dress for example) so I assume they are referring to the same defining code.

Kind regards
Ross

Hi Ross,

1. attached is a screenshot what show the home page.. the parts pointed to by the arrows are all same simple plain font,, but the post in the Yellow is in a different font like Times Roman.. I would like to have that font the same as the ones pointed to by the arrows.

You can try achieving this by adding the following CSS code in the Custom CSS option of your theme on the below path.

Admin Area -> Appearance -> Theme Options -> Other -> Custom CSS

div.entry-content {
    font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;
}
2. The same screehshot also shows the words UNDER DEVELOPMENT.. I think that is about 36px or something but i would like to make it smaller if possible,, maybe 2/3 or 3/4 the size , i.e maybe 24 or 32 px (assuming the current size is 36)

Currently it is 52px which you can change to 32px by using the below CSS code as described above.

body .entry-title {
    font-size: 32px;
}

You can change the font size 32px in the above code to whatever you want to set.
