Can I change whatever I want with the theme?

Hi,

I’ve downloaded Shapely, installed it to my Wordpress instance, and now I want to make some custom changes.

Are there any copyright policies or terms and conditions which say I cannot change the Shapely theme source?
Is there anything I cannot change?
Do I need to inform anybody of any changes?

It says here Terms and Conditions - Colorlib that

Content and objects on colorlib.com cannot not be altered, edited, reproduced, reposted, mirrored, moved, downloaded, distributed or published without soliciting written consent.
but I'm not sure if this does apply to me as my website will be unrelated to Wordpress themes.

Sorry if this is obvious or I’m missing something, I just want to be sure I’m not going to run into any issues once the site is live.

What you cant change is footer copyright without proper license and if you obtain license you can change that too :slight_smile:
