Well, as said on the title.

The index takes the (Wordpress) site’s name and short description and just put them together to form the site’s title. Also, the index shows the Wordpress short description of the web and use it as a meta description.

Weird thing I can change it on every page or post, but the index is not considered a page or a post, so I can’t edit it.

Is there any way to solve this problem?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @manu,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

You can change it using this plugin [Yoast SEO – Advanced SEO with real-time guidance and built-in AI – WordPress plugin | WordPress.org](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/) as described on the following page.

Hey @Movin I just had to set up (on wordpress configurations) to use a static page as front page. And that was it.

Thanks anyways.
