Can't access theme options

Hi,

I recently upgraded the theme to v2.2.1 (running on WordPress 4.4.1) and can no longer access the ‘Theme Options’ page in the dashboard. ‘Theme Options’ doesn’t display in the side nav on the dashboard under ‘Appearance’ anymore and when I try to type the full link into my URL bar I get the following error even though my user is an Admin: “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”

Anyone else run into this or know of a way to fix the problem?

For context I have developed a child theme based off of Sparkling, but this shouldn’t have any effect on ‘Theme Options’.

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

In the latest version of theme all theme options are now moved to WordPress customizer that you can find in the admin area under Appearance >> Customize. All settings are still there but now you can tweak everything on a live preview. This change is made due to wordpress.org recommendation.
