Categories in homepage

Hello and congratulations for the template.
I have a problem with the categories on the homepage. The posts have several categories or tags, but only one is displayed on the homepage, the first in alphabetical order. Is it possible to display the main category and not the first one alphabetically ordered?

Hello there,

I hope you are doing well today.

As it stands, the theme does not have a built in option to choose the category that is displayed so in order to change this in the theme you will have to change the core PHP code in the theme.
