category label on top of image

When I display a post in Shapely, its category shows as a label overlaying the bottom left of the post’s featured image. See the example in the attached screenshot where the category NEWS is displayed. I don’t want the category displayed in this way. Could you point me to where I can suppress this display, please, so that the image is seen as a whole?

I am using a child of Shapely 1.2 in Wordpress 4.9.1.

Hey there,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

You can try achieving this by adding the following CSS code in the Custom CSS option of your theme on the below path.

Admin Area -> Appearance -> Customize -> Additional CSS

/*move category below image*/
.post-content .shapely-category {
    position: relative !important;

Best regards,

Brilliant! Works a treat – moves it out of the way below the image. And I can also choose not to display the category label at all if I want to with
display: none;
Really excellent support, especially considering it’s a Sunday evening. Well done!

Many thanks.
