Change background color of active page in menu drop-down

I am trying to figure out how to remove the background color of the active page in my dropdown menu (http://www.seedoftomorrow.com/). I would like the active page background color to be the same as the hover background color. Any ideas?

Hi @holdenalexander,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

You can try achieving this by adding the following CSS code in the Custom CSS option of your theme on the below path.

Admin Area -> Appearance -> Customize -> Activello Options -> Other -> Custom CSS

.dropdown-menu>.active>a,
.dropdown-menu>.active>a:hover,
.dropdown-menu>.active>a:focus{
    background-color: #7dc290;
}

Best Regards,
Movin

Thanks Movin! That worked perfectly!

Hey Movin,

So I am experiencing a challenge. The code works but when I try to save/publish, it will not process until I remove the code. Here is the additional CSS I have implemented:
/*
You can add your own CSS here.

*/

/Thin Header Bar/
.nav-search,
.navbar-default .navbar-nav> li> a {
padding: 5px 0;
}

/Link Color in Body/
body.single .entry-content a {
color: #7dc290;
}

/Link Hover Color & Background/
body.single .entry-content a:hover {
background: transparent;
color: #194b9c;
}

/Remove Search from Header/
.navbar-default .nav-search {
display: none;
}

/Menu DropDown Text Color on Hover/
#page .navbar-default .navbar-nav a:hover {
color: #fff;
}

/Adjust Size of Social Icons/
body #social a {
font-size: 25px;
}

Would any of this interfere with the code suggestion you gave?

No i don’t think so.

I am not sure what you meant by this so please describe it a bite more in detail.
