Change font colour on homepage widget title

Hi,

I’m trying to change the font colour on the homepage widget titles as I have the background set to black and the font is also black so you can’t see it. There doesn’t seem to be an option in customisation or it doesn’t appear to work.

I’ve tried to add custom css and change direct in the style.css file but it doesn’t work. I don’t mind changing all widget titles to the same colour.
