Change Portfolio posts to the same margins as regular pages or full width blog

Hello. I hope you’re having a nice day. I’m getting so close to being ready to launch. Would you please help with a two things?

1). I’d like to eliminate the side bar space on the portfolio pages so they have the same margins as a regular page or “full-width” blog. Found the blog customizer to change to full-width, but it doesn’t affect the portfolio page appearance. See screen shot.

Here is what I have that I want to change: http://hm2015.globaldove.org/portfolio/construction/

Here is what I want in terms of margin for the portfolio post: http://hm2015.globaldove.org/gallery/construction-projects/

Here is a sample PAGE for the portfolio margins: http://hm2015.globaldove.org/angels-of-god-childrens-home/

2). On the above page the feature image is justified left and I’d like it centered or right & left justified to the margins.

The galleries were created with Robo Gallery Pro and can be used for images AND video, separate or mixed in the same gallery. Tons of options. Pro is cheap for unlimited galleries in one site. https://wptools.co/robogallery/.

Thank you for your help.

Figured a work-around for the second question above: “(2). On the above page the feature image is justified left and I’d like it centered or right & left justified to the margins.” by deleting the feature image and putting an unaligned image in the text.

If there is a way to center the feature images I’d still like to know. Thanks!

hey there

Hope you are having a good day and thank you for your question

  1. Please add this CSS in appearance - customize - additional CSS
.single-jetpack-portfolio #primary {
    width: 100%;
}
.single-jetpack-portfolio aside#secondary {
    display: none;
}

Thanks!

Perfect! Thank you!

.single-jetpack-portfolio aside#secondary {
display: none;
}

Noda, the code you gave me worked, but there is a red “x” on the second line and a red squiggle underlining the “d” in “display” ???

It says “Expected COLON at line 35, col 5.”

Hello there,

The code seems correct syntax wise. Can you add an image of the CSS sections as the error may be caused by a previous CSS syntax error.
