The preview is showing the full size post in my instalation.

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
If you don’t want to display full size post on posts listings page then just check the theme option “Show post excerpts?” in the theme settings on the following path.
Admin Area -> Appearance -> Customize -> Sparkling Options -> Content Options
