Changing the font size of nav brand

Hi,

I want to change the navbrand font size. I applied the following CSS in Custom CSS but nothing seems to be working.
navbar > .container .navbar-brand {
color: #373535;
font-size: 40px;
margin: 8px 0;

}

I’ve notice one thing that ‘>’ symbol changes when I updated the custom css with &gt(;).
I don’t know what is happening. I just want to increase and change the font size of nav brand.
Please help me !

Thanks,
Bunty

Hi Bunty,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

It’s the known issue with the symbol > in custom CSS which will be resolved ASAP.

In the meanwhile you can just skip using that symbol and use the CSS code as following.

.navbar .container .navbar-brand {
    color: #373535;
    font-size: 40px;
    margin: 8px 0;
}

Best Regards,
Movin

Thanks for the reply Movin. Just applied the following code, the nav bar font color is not changing but font size increased. I don’t know, what’s wrong but the code working fine for localhost.

The provided code is working fine on my test site.

Could you please share me your site URL where it’s not working so that i can troubleshoot it?

You can just try suffixing the CSS property with !important which is not working like following.

.navbar .container .navbar-brand {
    color: #373535 !important;
    font-size: 40px;
    margin: 8px 0;
}

Just applied the code and it’s work:-)

Thanks for the help!

You are most welcome here :slight_smile:
