Hello there,

I hope you are doing well today.

A child theme can be created using the following plugin which also allows you to customize the child theme with the files you want to carry over from the theme:

> **[Child Theme Configurator](https://wordpress.org/plugins/child-theme-configurator/)**
>
> When using the Customizer is not enough - Create a child theme from your installed themes and customize styles, templates, functions and more.

Best Regards,
Support

Hi there

@hatchhozzen you can use the same method that is provided in this.
May I know what you want to have child theme?

Please note, if you are not going to modify theme functionality its not necessary to use child theme,

Regards
