Is it possible to have the links and pages etc from the dropdown menu in the header displayed in several columns? (just one column cant handle many links)

Sorry but with default menu options this is not possible, try to use third-party mega menu plugins
Ok, thank you. Tried mega menu, Amazing opportunities with that one. Think it slowed down my page to much though. I´ll go with the default. Thanks for Quick answer.

Well, yes, i can confirm mega menu is a little bit heavy 
but there are plenty of similar plugins in WordPress repositories
