I would like to enable comments on a static page (I’m not talking about a post). All the settings are set correctly. I have also read this thread http://bit.ly/2daGDmj. All my boxes are checked correctly.
The leave a comment box doesn’t show up at all. So people can’t comment on any pages I make.

Please try unchecking saving and again checking the theme option " Display Comments on Static Pages?"
Also make sure to enable comments on pages as described on the following pages.
