Comments - How to show the date of publication of each comment ?

Hello !

I have a problem with the showing of the date of publication of comments on my blog.

I searched on this forum and I found an old topic with the same problem - https://colorlibsupport.com/t/date-and-time-not-showing-on-comments/. I tried to use your example but it didn’t work. And the problem is that I don’t really understand what I have to take from your example in the topic where I posted, by the way, my question for the first time. :smiley: So, when I copy/paste the code from your zip file into my functions.php and comments.php files, it crashes all the changes that I have done for the comment’s field of my child theme (I work in local for the moment and I customized a lot the Activello basic theme).

Could you please explain what should I do to resolve it ?

Hi @vgolovnya,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

The solution is simple you have to just use the child theme shared in that topic on your site.

As you are already using child theme then you have to merge the code from that shared child theme in to your child theme.

It seems you are not merging the code correctly therefore it is crashing.

Could you please share me your child theme so that i can help you to merge the code in it?

Yes if it exceeds the allowed size then you can use Google Drive, Dropbox or any other file sharing service to share it to me.
