Hi there,
Due to circumstances I haven’t been able for some time to upgrade to the latest version of Dazzling. I’m running WP 4.5.3, with Jetpack 3.9.1.
So it’s time to update to Dazzling 2.0.4 as well as the latest version of Jetpack (4.2.1).
Two questions:

  1. Is Dazzling 2.0.4 compatible with WP 4.5.3 and the latest Jetpack?
  2. If so, is there any particular order in which I should upgrade (e.g. Jetpack first, then Dazzling)?

    By the way: is there a page that shows the features of Dazzling theme updates?

Yes

There isn’t any particular order.

There’s only one thing: one of the words in the header of my blogsite (see attachment) seems out of place. How can I correct that?

I visited your shared site and it is displaying fine for me as shown in the attached screenshot.

Yeah, I see it too. Probably a temporary glitch?
One more thing @Movin: after updating the Footer Widget with social media icons had disappeared.
I re-activated the Footer Widget again but it now shows as a list with very small icons (screendump attached), while before updating the icons stood side by side and were larger.
How can I reconfigure that?

I visited your site and found you are using wrong widget in the footer. You should use Dazzling Social Widget.

When I remove the Jetpack social media icons from Footer Widget 1 and replace it with Dazzling Social Widget there’s only the Title field that I can edit. There are no other fields (i.e. icons and user names) to edit, so no icons?

In the latest version of theme we have changed functionality of social links which is not in a Dazzling Social Widget now.

To create social icons follow the below steps :

  1. Create a menu like any other menu in the admin area of your site under Appearance -> Menus .
  2. Use the correct urls in the menu items, so for twitter it must be twitter.com for facebook it must be facebook.com. Otherwise URLs won’t get recognized and you will get squares without icons.
  3. Set theme location for this menu as “Social Menu”
