Is there anyway to change from Contact Form 7 to Ninja Forms under the contact us front page section. The default is Contact Form 7 and won’t let me change it.

Unfortunately the theme doesn’t allow this, however I’ll put this issue down as a feature request
to have the ability to change contact forms. I can’t tell you If or when this would be implemented however.
In the mean time you could have a look at this article that speaks about integrating ninja form with contact form 7
