Creating a shop page like the one on the demo site

Hi

I’m a wordpress beginner, and I’ve been following some videos to create my site.

However, I need help with my ecommerce store.

Currently, after installing the woocommerce theme, I have several pages associated with the store (SHOP - I created this personally, CART, CHECKOUT, MY ACCOUNT). You can check them out from my site - http://flyfishingspotter.com/

I admire how it’s done on the demo site - https://colorlib.com/sparkling/shop/ - where there’re no sub pages like I have them on my site (everything is in one place).
How can I get it to be like that?

Hi Ray,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

Just remove the sub menu items of Shop menu from Menus screen in your site admin area Appearance -> Menus

However, I didn’t create a shop menu - the shop page exists on my home menu (one of the menus with my main pages including the shop page).

So, from your answer, should I create a shop menu coz currently it’s a page

Not sure how you have created your menu so could you please share the screenshot of your whole menu screen.

Hi @okoyoray,

In that case, you can remove the last 3 menu item under the shop page, http://take.ms/59eB9 and then it won’t have any sub-menu items on the home page, it will be just like our home page. If you’re asking something other, can you clarify?

However, just so you can clarify - if I remove the sub pages under the shop page, will the shop still function the same way I would have the sub pages.

Also, just to stress on what I need - My shop page - http://flyfishingspotter.com/ has some drop down menus and I want to do away with them but not interfering with how the shop functions - any method to do that?

Actually, if you view the demo site - https://colorlib.com/sparkling/shop/ , the shop page has no drop down menus - and that’s the style I need for my site

Yes it would function same way without sub menus.
