Custom widget on a single page

Hello,

We are trying to add widget to our blog page at Website but even the regular widget we have does not show on this page for some reason. It was working before the theme update. With the old developer not in the picture, I am not sure how this was initially added. When we try customize the widget on that page through live customizer, it says “Your theme has 3 other widget areas, but this particular page doesn’t display them.
You can navigate to other pages on your site while using the Customizer to view and edit the widgets displayed on those pages.”

How can we get the custom widget back? Please note that because of the php version (php 7), we may not be able to use the old version theme anymore. So rolling back will not help in our case.

Thanks in advance

Albert

Hey there,
I hope you’re doing well today

Developing custom code for custom functionality is beyond the scope of support that we provide here.

I suggest getting a new a developer to assist you with this. There are many affordable options from any freelance site. Colorlib recommends the developer https://www.upwork.com/freelancers/~011652ffec8865c6d5
