“Customising Additional CSS” Not showing Editing Facility

Hi,
I have very similar problem to the one from:

It looks that’s a conflict between shapley theme and WordPress’ CSS editor. Do you know what is causing the issue ?

Hi @nephe,

You could use a css plugin:Simple Custom CSS – WordPress plugin | WordPress.org

Thanks,

Cristian

But how can I now remove jetpack css?

@nephe,

Tell me exactly what you want to achieve and provide me your livewebsite so I could check.

Thanks,

Cristian

webiste i was using there jetpack custom css before wordpress 4.7. After new release of 4.7 I have updated both jetpack plugin and wordpress. Right now when jetpack custom css is enabled I have blank field under additional css, so I cannot edit jetpack css. Jetpack support says that this is due to conflict between theme and WordPress’ CSS editor.
I can disable jetpack CSS but the changes are still applied to website. I need to remove that changes somehow.

Hi @nephe,

Could you sent me in a private message wp admin and wp pasword so I could check?

Thanks,
Cristian

Hi, I cannot give you access to ap admin, but I can follow your instructions.

Hi @nephe,

The best I can do is to offer you to use a custom css plugin:

if this does not help you please send us more info regarding your issue or try to provide use the credentials to login and to check.

Thanks,

Cristian

This Simple Custom CSS is working, I can also provide some options in theme CSS so this is good.

The problem is that I cannot remove old jetpack CSS even when it is disabled.

Hi @nephe,

Maybe a new clean install will solve.

Thanks,

Cristian

But clean install of what?

Clean install of wordpress and the theme.
