Customize Home Page

Hello, Travelify Support.

First of all, an absolutely amazing theme – love it.

My query:
Is there any way to make the blog home page look like this example, where the title of the blog post is at the top of each entry, the pictures are smaller, and the text is beside the smaller picture?

This looks so much better than the default of larger pictures which are actually above the title of the blog post, like this:

I’ve seen the instructions here (step #10):

But I don’t want a separate page I have to maintain which looks different from the actual home page (like the first two links do).

Surely there is a way to format the home/primary/main page of the blog so it looks like the example in the first link? And if there currently is no way, isn’t this something that could pretty easily be built into the settings available? Why have this work-around of building a completely separate page which is not your blog’s actual primary site address?

Thanks for your support.

Is there a better forum to ask questions and receive answers for the Travelify theme? Or a better site? Somewhere with a more active community? I thought this would have been the best place to ask a question about Travelify, but it’s been over a week with no response.

Any pointers on a better location to post to, or more appropriate resource to use?

Thanks for your help.

Hi Cynthia,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

You can achieve this on your home page by using the attached small plugin specially developed for you.

Best Regards,

Hello, Movin.

That is absolutely fantastic! I’ve installed it and it’s looking exactly like I was hoping. Thanks so much for developing this for me.

(I can’t understand why most people wouldn’t want this as the default. It looks so much better.)

You are most welcome here
