Customizing Footer Doesn't Work

Hi,

When I go to Appearance > Customize > Footer and enter a new Copyright text, the default one isn’t replaced. How can I fix this? Thanks!

Thanks for your suggestion, but that, too, didn’t work for some reason :confused: Ended up hiding it with CSS and adding my copyright text by creating a text widget inside the footer widget.

I try what Movin suggest but doesn’t work , any other chance to remove copyright?
