Desactivate Featured Image on Posts

Hello,
I want to remove the featured image of most of my posts. The problem is that even if I don’t upload a featured image I still see a big blank image with an icon on the post page and in the post lists.
Is it possible to desactivate this? I only need the name of the post or the date.

Thanks

Hello there,

I hope you are doing well today.

Could you please provide a link to the page you are referring to so that I can inspect it?
The featured image can be removed but I need to see the page to provide so CSS code.

Hello,

Here’s a link to one of my posts : http://test.amicalepost.lu/2017/05/10/morbi-quis-odio-blandit-bibendum-erat-sit-amet-commodo/

I want to desactivate the featured image. Is it possible ?

And now I have another issue : I set my front page to static - I selected my Home page to be that page.
However now, when I go to http://test.amicalepost.lu/ I still don’t see it.

Thank you very much

Hello there,

I hope you are doing well today.

You can use the following CSS code to remove the featured image from posts by going to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and pasting it there.

/*Remove featured image*/
.newspaper-x-image {
    display: none;
}

As it goes for the home page, please ensure that you saved the changes before exiting the settings page.

I await your response.
