I’m hoping to give my website audience the option to make a selection from one of 3 boxes at the top of the page that will (virtually) instantly replace some of the graphics and text on the website (ie. the user selects their segment and see photos/text that is relevant to their segment). Sending the user to a separate page with the customised content is undesirable because of the loading time.

Does anyone know how to do this in wordpress (for the Ildy theme if possible)?

This is something custom on this page and you also need some custom approach here because such things is not possible by the theme or by the third party plugins

We meant that the theme does not have anything in its features or options that can give you that functionality you want and you would need to either us a plugin or do modification to the theme.
