# Early function loading error

I am suddenly getting this notification at the top of my site HELP!!

This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the `init` action or later. Sorry for a late response. We fixed this late last week and everything should work flawlessly with the latest version of WordPress and also PHP since we did optimisation for both in the latest version.

Likely a WordPress 6.7+ compatibility issue with the Illdy theme/companion plugin. Update both first. If already updated, disable error display on the live site and check for a newer Illdy version or contact the developer. The `functions.php` line is just where WordPress reports the notice—the actual issue is the theme/plugin loading translations too early.
