Edit excerpt on blog page

I have an affiliate link disclosure at the top of each blog post. I have the disclosure written with Heading 6 formatting. This is making it so my blog post excerpts start out with the disclosure statement. Is there a way to hide Heading 6 (the disclosure statement) from the excerpt on my blog page?

You can just add the custom excerpt without the affiliate link disclosure in the excerpt field of the post so that it will be displayed on the blog page.
