Favicon/Site Identity

Hello,
I added a custom favicon to my site. But it’s not appearing on some of my pages. When I’m in my backoffice, I still see the favicon from my hosting company. Plus, on pages that I want to make available as downloads, the hosting company’s favicon appears instead of mine. I want to be able to show my favicon on these pages. How do I do that? Here’s an example of what I am referring to: http://lanakilaproductions.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/Video-Marketing-Equipment-List.pdf

Thanks,
Kalei

Hi Kalei,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

I am not sure what you meant by backoffice so could you please describe it a bit more?

The Site Icon set in Site Identity option is a functionality provided by WordPress and not theme so it’s not the theme related issue.

Also you are accessing the shared pdf file in the browser directly and through WordPress so WordPress doesn’t have any control on it to display Site icon.

You can contact your web host regarding this or try to change it as described on the below pages.
