Feature request: custom sections

Hi!

Would it be possible to allow custom sections? You already include News/blog posts. If it were possible to have several news sections displaying different categories or maybe different post types/formats then the possibilities would be almost limitless. It would even suffice to supply a fixed number of, say, 10 sections (#custom1 to #custom10) each displaying a different post category/type. We could set it to 1 post with an appropriate length … so we could have video on the homepage … etc. etc.

Possible?

The idea is really good but unfortunately, it’s not possible, without major customization this is not possible
