Could you please share the screenshot of the issue?
@movin in my OP I shared an image of how the featured images were square, and now they no longer are. If they can not be made all square again, what is the dimensions of the featured image, so I can just create them based on what is actually shown.
As well, on your customize video, it shows the cover page image full screen width, where in editing, it maxes at 400x200, which is 1/3 of the page in width.
You can see on the theme demo site here https://colorlib.com/activello/ that the featured image is not square. It by default displays in rectangular shape which is 330 X 220
Initially it was displaying in square shape for you, may be because your site has not regenerated thumbnails yet but after regenerating the thumbnails they are displaying in the same size as demo site.
If you want to display them in square shape then you can do so by using the custom plugin solution shared in the following reply. You have to just change sizes in it to square but if you don’t know about it then consider hiring a developer as described above.
