I am using the featured slide option with the Event Add on Modern Tribe. the slider works great but when I use the ID from the event add on it does not work. It does not show up on the page at all. If it is the add on can you suggest one that will work?
I am a drupal convert and really enjoying wordpress and the great community around it!

Slider doesn’t recognize custom post types as they are not part of the theme itself and are added by slider therefore it won’t work.
However, there is a workaround you can use. You can create a regular page with featured image and add it inside slider but to make sure that it points to your Event page you can use Page Links To plugin. This will make sure that Page in slider won’t be accessible but it will show all the details from that page but when users will click on slider they will be redirected to that Event page or any other page you want.
