Featured Slider / Adjusting　number of letters

Hi！
Thank you so much last time!!
I love the Support forum.

Today,a new question is here.
When I used Featured Slider in a top page, there were a title and letters on a photo.
I want to adjust the number of letters.
Because the number of letters was too long now.
I want to make them shorter.
ex.single line letters or none.

Please help me!

Hey,

This short post summary is called Excerpt and by default it is 55 word long. You can enter it manually when editing your posts/pages. There is a Excerpts field right below Post/Page editor that looks like this:

You can add there are short or long text as you want and it will be displayed as is. if you don’t see this field by default you can enable via Screen Options that you can find in the upper right corner of the same Post/Page edit screen.

I could see the option in a posts, but I couldn`t see the option in pages.
I want to use the option in pages.

This is next.

I resolved this problem.
I put「add_post_type_support( ‘page’, ‘excerpt’ );」in 「functions.php」.
So,I could use Excerpt in pages.

Is it no problem?
