First Post on Each Page

Hello!

I have my site set up so that on the front page the newest post shows full width and the others are two per row.

However, on the ‘older post’ pages the first post is not full width and sits alone to the left. Is there a way to rectify this? As I have the most recent post full width, I necessarily have an odd number of posts per page.
