I’ve just created a child theme of Shapely using the plugin One-click Child Theme. It seems Ok except that it has substituted Helvetica Neue font for Raleway and the button shapes are slightly different. Is this easy to correct, or is there a better way to create a child theme?

Many thanks for the rapid response. Yeah, as you recommend, I used Child Theme Configurator and it all worked perfectly. The only non-default selections I made were (1) to create separate stylesheet in step 5 and (2) to copy over parent menus and widgets in step 8.
