Full Width Page Issue

I am using the shaplely theme and I got the homepage to look how I would like it but I cannot get other pages to go full width.

Here are the 2 pages

cqd.net (full-width)
cqd.net/history (not full width)

Thanks for the help.

Hi, have you tried selecting Full Width over Customization on your page, Shapely Options > Layout Options > Website Layout Options. Also you need to set your Home/front page to Home Page (Edit on Pages > Page Attributes > Template), while the rest of the pages need to be set to default.

And I forgot, you also need to set Front page (as a static page) in Wp Settings > Reading settings, and Posts page (it has to be set even if you will not be using Posts page).

I can’t get full width either. www.algarve-events.com i have tried everything.

There is also an option on the bottom on Edit page - “Select layout for this specific page only.”

Ok in the page it is set to fullwidth and to the template. Parallax is set to full widt and templayte has been set to full width. And not full width on the website :frowning:

Hi There,

I hope you are well today and thanks for posting here.

I have tested it on my test site and it’s working fine for me using latest version of Shapely theme as i replied on your following topics.

If it’s still not working fine for you on your site after configuring the page layout then would you mind if i log in to your site and do some troubleshooting? If this is ok then could you please share me your site log in details privately by checking the option “Set as private reply” when replying to this topic?

Best Regards,

No luck for me either, can’t get full width posts.

Hi @meridianform,

Have you followed the instructions provided in my following reply posted above

I accidentally got it to work.

I was looking at this post for another issue and I replaced my existing function.php with the one specified. Not only did it fix the issue that I had (jquery error) but now all pages on the site go full width. Make a backup of your functions.php file and proceed with caution.

I haven’t looked at function.php closely enough to know exactly why this changed.

Thanks!

Didn’t do anything for me, unfortunately.

@n8sb Glad it’s working fine for you now

@meridianform Could you please share me the page URL from your site where it’s not displaying correctly so that i can troubleshoot it?
