header height, homepage image problems

How can I reduce the size of the blog title header?
I used this:

.page-title-section {
height: 100px !important;
}

and it works, but I can’t make it any smaller. I would like it 50px or something but it doesn’t do it.

Is there any way to reduce it further? Thanks

My apologies, the title had to be: BLOG TITLE HEADER SIZE you can change it since there was another thread with that title. Thanks
