I would like to show my visitors that my website is also avaible for other countries (with country specific links etc.) and therefore I like to put some small country flags into the header. Can I add another block there? Can you help me with that?

Since menu contains a single line there is no space to add more content without breaking it on mobile devices. The best options here is to create menu like this and include language switcher as regular menu dropdown. You could highlight it using it CSS to make it more noticeable.
