Hello there,

I hope you are doing well today.

The functions.php file can be found in your theme’s folder so go to Appearance > Editor and locate the file or you can access it thought the FTP provided by your hosting provider.

Hi, thanks for such a speedy response. I have found I can’t access it through wordpress as it just takes me to a blank page with:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<’ in /home2/videoart/public_html/edventurerus/wp-content/themes/shapely/functions.php on line 380

on it

through FTP, I get to wordpress/ themes/ shapely but then can’t see functions.php. is it inside a folder? and can you direct me to the original functions.php text that the file should resemble please?

thanks
john
