HELP!!! "Recommended Actions" doesn't work [Shaply version 1.1.2]

I just downloaded the theme, and followed the instruction as the first video. After I installed the theme, Jetpack &Shaply companion plugin, everything works fine. Then when I go to “appearance” > “About Shaply” > “Recommended Actions” > “I want my site to look like your demo”, it says “Hooray! There are no required actions for you right now.”. HOWEVER, when I checked the homepage, NOTHING CHANGED!!

Anybody can tell me how to solved this problem? Thanks in advance!

Did you import the demo content, and use the widgets import & export plugin to import the demo widgets?

  1. Create a new page, and choose the vc homepage page template in the page attributes on the right side? http://take.ms/qXM5N
  2. Go to Settings -> Readings -> Front Page Displays -> Static page and choose the page you created in step 1? http://take.ms/g3Znn
  3. And see that works.

If not, please pass us the WP Login details, we will check what’s going wrong.
