Help with Sticky Menu

This is a follow-up post on this one:
https://colorlibsupport.com/t/how-to-make-sticky-menu-bar/

I am trying to get my main menu to stick but nothing works.
I downloaded the Sticky Menu (or Anything!) plugin and tried to find a way to make my main navigation stick.
Which identifier do I have to put into the “sticky element” field if I want my main menu (the one on the top) stick?

Added a screedshot, so you can see

I cannot find the right name to put there.
Thank you!

update:
now I managed to make the menu stick BUT it disappears as soon as you scroll over the slider and then appears again once you are underneath the slider. Is there a way to change that?

My website is: http://www.primetimechaos.com/
Thank you!

Hello there,

The plugin that you used seems to have the settings hard coded to the elements so I can’t make changes to the sticky header. Could you please remove the header from the plugin so I can test some code?

Sure!
Removed the header from the plugin. Should I deactivate it as well?
Thank you!

Hello there,

You can deactivate it.

You can use the following CSS code to create the sticky header by going to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and pasting it there.

/*Sticky Header*/
.navbar.navbar-default {
    width: 100%;
    position: fixed;
    z-index: 100;
}

Nnow the gap between menu and header (logo) is smaller than before.
But other than that it worked, thank you!

I included a screenshot.
How can I adjust the padding/margin between header and menu?

Thank you! I really appreciate it!

Use below custom CSS code to achieve it.

div#logo {
    padding-top: 100px;
}

Ah this is perfect, thank you!
I am so happy about all the help I got here!
THANKS Movin!

You are always welcome here :slight_smile:
